Organizational
memberships shall be open to any non-profit group whose bylaws state
that its principle purpose is directly related to the equine industry or
a segment thereof and whose members consist primarily of persons who own
or use equine or who are engaged in services directed at equine. Only an
Organization member may apply to the Board of Directors of the Michigan
Horse Council for representation on the Board of Directors. Each
organizational member accepted for representation shall be entitled to
one seat on the Board of Directors. Organizational Members’ membership
shall be encouraged to become Individual Members of the Michigan Horse
Council and to serve as volunteers on Michigan Horse Council committees.

Have the opportunity to seat one delegate (and designate two alternates) on the Michigan Horse Council board of directors; thereby directly participating in actions and discussions of the Council. |

Each delegate and alternate will receive a monthly newsletter, keeping them informed of events that are happening in the state, current health issues, pending legislation affecting the equine industry, trail issues, and more, as well as receive a copy of the minutes of each MHC board meeting. |
